The Aesthetica Creative Writing Award is one of the main awards in the UK for new writing talent. It is an outlet for expression and a platform for poets and authors across the world to showcase their work through £5,000 prize money, publication and wide exposure through the Aesthetica networks.
They are looking for pieces that challenge them – that redefine the parameters of form, concept and technique. Winning pieces have reflected upon both social and political structures, human relationships and experiences. They have pushed the boundaries of imagination – providing new possibilities and ideas.
